A list of items that we recommend you acquire before bringing your puppy to  his new home.

• Water bowl

• Food bowl

• Dog bed (preferably with a removable cushion)

• Dog toilet tray, preferably with a protective grate (because particularly active puppies love ripping up puppy pads)

• Puppy pads for the dog toilet tray

• Toys for chewing (from the pet shop), soft toys, rattling toys, squeaky toys, rustling toys (baby toys can often be suitable)

• Dog cage, crate or pen to keep the puppy in for the first while. After this, the puppy can continue to be contained there for the next few months for safety during the night and when the owners are away from the home.
